BETTY BOY v6.0
Walk the ship. Talk to the crew. Run your scripts.
A pixel-art starship you can explore on your desktop. Each crew member on board is linked to a folder of Python scripts. Walk up, start a conversation, and tell them what to run. It turns boring script management into something you actually want to open.
Bridge
Command centre. The Bridge Console NPC handles any scripts sitting in your root folder.
Transporter Room
Animated pads, supply crates. Crew stationed here manage their own script folders.
Crew Lounge
Sofas, replicator, mood lighting. Even NPCs need a break between jobs.
Science Lab
Med beds and consoles. Assign data-heavy or analytical scripts to the crew here.
Hydroponics
Planters and grow lights. A quieter deck for longer-running background tasks.
Engineering
Engine core at the heart of the ship. The heavy lifting happens here.
Point it at a folder
Hit F1 and pick the directory where your Python scripts live. Each subfolder becomes a crew member on the ship.
Walk the ship
Move around with WASD or arrow keys. Doors open as you approach. Explore every room.
Talk to the crew
Walk up to any NPC and press E. They will greet you, show their instructions, and list the scripts they can run.
Run, watch, repeat
Select a script and hit Enter. Output streams live into the dialogue panel. Press X to stop a running task.
